Oscar Molina Gallery presents work by contemporary international artists with a focus on emerging, mid-career, and master artists from the The Americas.

Founded by Salvadoran American artist, J. Oscar Molina, the gallery exhibits painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography and drawing. Our team works closely with individual collectors, designers and art consultants, offering a highly personal approach.

New art exhibitions, both group and solo, open every four to six weeks and we host interactive receptions as well as Artist Talks for each. Carefully conceived, Oscar Molina Gallery’s curatorial program is designed to illuminate art as a social practice, providing a platform that encourages cultural exchange and dialogue in a public space.

We look forward to seeing you at the gallery soon!

THE TEAM

  • GALLERY DIRECTOR

Karin has been surrounded by art and by artists her entire life and prior to joining Oscar Molina Gallery, she curated and managed INstore@LongHouse, a tiny gem of a gift shop at LongHouse Reserve, a 16-acre outdoor sculpture museum and garden.

Karin was previously co-founding partner of Greene-Levin-Snyder LLC, a prestigious executive recruiting firm in Manhattan, however, art always played a central role in her life. She studied dance for many years and performed in avant- garde theatre pieces, including Robert Wilson’s “The $ Value of Man” at Brooklyn Academy of Music. Karin also served as President of the Board of Directors of SoHo Rep, an established downtown theatre and as Co-President of the Board of Directors of the New York International Ballet Competition.

Karin received her B.A. in French Literature from New York University where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude. She was a Volunteer ESL Instructor for several years in East Hampton and is grateful to live in the vibrant, multi-cultural, and stunningly beautiful East End of Long Island.

  • GALLERY CURATOR

Esperanza has sought to advance art from Latin America for over 20 years. After studying at the University of Toronto (BA, Art History Specialist), she lived in Venezuela, working at the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Caracas and the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Maracay, and as Director at the Ateneo de Maracay before returning to East Hampton in 2001 to establish ARTSOLAR and continue to cultivate awareness of contemporary Venezuelan and Latin American artists.

Emphasis on education through art and connecting art and culture with her community led to work in the administration of Amagansett’s D’Amico Institute of Art, which through her efforts became a local historical landmark and member of the National Trust’s Historic Artists Homes and Studio program. Esperanza was a founding member of OLA of Eastern Long Island and served as a Trustee at Guild Hall of East Hampton from 2006-2022, during which time she was head of the Education Committee. She currently serves as Vice Chair of East Hampton Town’s Architectural Review Board and is a member of Peconic Land Trust’s Project Committee. She is a co-founder of Wainscott Heritage Project and serves on the Brooks Park Arts and Nature Center Committee, working to preserve the historical Springs home and studios of Abstract Expressionist artists James Brooks and Charlotte Park.
