Isadora Capraro

Italy, 1994

Born in Italy, Isadora Capraro is a painter whose works construct a universe in which human figures merge with the subtle world of nature.  Time slows down and lends room for presence in her paintings and her human figures are committed to the essential task of inhabiting the self with peace and joy.

Capraro’s magnificent paintings play in the interaction of figuration with abstraction, creating images in which the viewer finds human shapes, animals and symbols hidden within striking color and texture.  The artist’s first solo exhibition was held in Buenos Aires in 2018 and her second was held in the US in 2022.

Capraro studied art at Manuel Belgrano National School of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires and she resides and works on the East End of Long Island.
